Pretty much you're average person. I love to read and from there, my imagination told me to write. Thankfully, my fiance isn't too adverse to the amount of time I spend pouring over the stories on this site. When I write, I love to know what people think (good and bad) and what they think they might like to happen. I write the stories not only for my own enjoyment, but so that others can enjoy the little fantasy world I have created as well.
