I suppose the very first thing I should say is I am a 19 year old from beautiful Pennsylvania. But please call me Autumn as it is my real first name.Surprisingly, I suppose, is the fact that I love school. How can I not? The ability to learn is one of life's blessings.However my ultimate subject is History. Though it may be arrogant to say so, I'm damn good in it,and because of that, archaeology is my life goal. However I do admit I have a terrible habit of analyzing, and correcting mistakes( in historical matter) that I happen to stumble upon. Forgive me if I have gotten hold of you.
And now it comes to writing. I would be remiss if I did not say that it is what keeps me sane at times. I love creating. I love developing my characters. I love to simply write, to transport myself away from reality from time to time. I adore nature, so that plays a major role in most, if not all, of my stories. I like seeing the beauty in the ugly, seeing the magic in the ordinary. It's one of the many benefits of being a writer.
Since I do adore reading, I suppose it makes perfect sense to put my favorite authors in here as well. First and foremost is J.R.R. Tolkien. Though his Lord of the Rings saga is brilliant, he also has many other books that are equal, and I highly suggest reading them. I also adore the Drizzt do'Urden series by R.A. Salvatore. It was a rather fast love, but a true love all the same. Now I can't put the books down. Others include J.K. Rowling, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, Bram Stoker, Shakespeare,and my favorite poet, Robert Frost.
And last, but certainly not least since I draw most of my inspiration from them, are my favorite bands. I love bands like Shinedown, Opeth, Type O Negative, Cold, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Chevelle, Trapt,and Hanson... All are absolutely brilliant songwriters and musicians, and I have nothing but respect for them. How can I not, for are they not like me? Writers searching for an outlet, though they sing their emotions. I merely put them on paper.
