I am 20-years-old and currently in the PA Army National Guard. I returned from an 18-mth. deployment to Iraq last June. It was a terrifying/horrible/rewarding/great experience! I am really happy with my decision to join three years ago, it's definitely made me a better person.
Now that I'm finally home, I'm focusing on running my own fanfiction site. It's very small right now, but all of the stories posted there are high quality and I'm sure you'll enjoy them! Check them out if you wish.
I've been writing fanfiction for about 4 years now, and I really love it. Even before then, I was writing original stories, primarily historical fiction novels. Thanks to Cmar (who also posts here, she's AMAZING), I've really grown a lot as a writer, without her...I'd probably suck.
