Hello, my wonderful readers. Thank you for all of your continued support, especially since it has been so long since I have updated. I want to make it clear that I have no intention of completely abandoning in “Contrast”, but it has been very hard for me to continue with it.
I have to admit that I am not even close to being the same person who posted the last chapter over 2 years ago, let alone started the story nearly 4 years ago. Due to events that have happened in Real Life I have grown into a very different person, and unfortunately I don’t believe the story no longer reflects nor represents who I am or what my writing style has evolved into, especially the first chapters. I feel it is somewhat immature and shallow, and I don’t take as much pride in it as I used to. Alas, it is the curse of being both a writer and a perfectionist.
So I have decided that before I begin writing again and try to go on with the story I need to do some heavy-duty editing. I don’t anticipate any large changes, but I feel as though the first half of the story does not flow cohesively with the last half, or with the series in general, so I will be taking liberties with adding in/taking out certain aspects or details. I am hoping that in doing this not only will “Contrast” be the story I always wished it would be, but that I will be motivated and inspired to carry on and eventually finish it.
I would appreciate and love feedback on the editing I am doing, so please feel free to post a review or send me an email and I will try my best to respond and take your opinions/constructive criticism into consideration.
Once again, thank you for sticking with me and “Contrast” through the years, it is because of you that I hope with all of my heart to give you the better and complete story you deserve. I look forward to improving each chapter and letting myself fall back into the world of fanfiction.
