Who am I? A quiet one who tends to hang back and read . . . but can write just as well. Perhaps you'll see, but I give fair warning: the former schoolteacher in me is tough to please. When you're the one who was teaching kids the basic rules of grammar, it's torture for me to read work that is so blatantly in need of help. (Having said that, yes, I do beta work as well and again, fair warning: I'm critical.)
An in-the-closet HP fan for a few years now, it is possible for anything to catch my interest - any pairing, any story/plotline, any absurd idea - but only those well-written pieces will maintain my interest (again, insert "teacher warning" here). Remus has always been my top favorite character, with Sirius coming up and Severus closely approaching, but again, anything can catch my interest.
As for my writings . . . . they are far - very far from "fluffy." They are dark, angsty, full of deep emotion . . . maybe a touch or two of humor and definitely a dose of sarcasm. I want them to be thought-provoking, evocative, powerful . . . I want you to take a moment and think about what you read. There is much that is "real" even within the world of "fiction."
