My name's Jun. Yes, if you watched Digimon like I did, like Daisuke's sister... but I like to pretend that I don't remember that ^^
On to the point. I'm a twenty year old student in a small college in New York, where I've lived for the past ten years. I was born and raised in Sapporo (Japan) and I guess that's why I'm obsessed with anime...? (Teehee, yes, I'll blame my heritage instead of my patheticness xD)
I originally registered here just to review a story that I read which was absolutely AMAZING... in fact if you've got time (and haven't done so already) then PLEASE read Tiki Rane Gobell's fic entitled Parthenogenesis because it's great. It's a believable m-preg and I won't say any more than that cause I don't wanna spoil it for ya.
At the moment I think I've got a pretty unhealthy obsession with Sasuke/Naruto... in fact, now that I think about it, I've had that obsession for a while now. *sigh* I've written tons of stuff on my own but it's all on paper, not typed, and so if I ever get around to typing it up I'll post it but if not I might just write something on the computer for AFF.net. While I LOVE SasuNaru I don't think I could really go for NaruSasu, somehow I don't think Sasuke could really EVER bottom. Not insulting NaruSasu fics out there, of course, it just doesn't work for me for some reason.
Other than the aforementioned strong obsession with one pairing in the Naruto fandom I do go for others. I love my yaoi and so I'm up for Uchiasest (Itachi/Sasuke) but it pales in comparison to the SasuNaruness. I also have a strange liking for SasuSaku fics, which is one of the few het pairings I'll read. I know a lot of people hate Sakura but I'll always be the nerdy-awkward-freaky-smart-girl-with-a-crush-on-the-hot-brooding-guy at heart so I relate to her a lot. Don't bash Sakura, she's too awesome! lol
Outside of the Naruto fandom I also love my Harry Potter stuff like any good little fangirl should. My favorite pairing there is Draco/Harry by far but I also like Draco/Hermione... seeing a pattern develop here? lol I can't help it, I love when the nerd gets the hot guy. For the record, though, I think Tom Felton is as attractive as Syphilis and so I use the Draco in my mind who is a bakajillion times hotter. Harry also gets a makeover. Psh, like you all don't do the same thing =P
Soooooo yesh, that's all I'll say for now. I do plan to begin work on a fic of my own and I'm 99% sure it'll be a SasuNaru... so watch out for it! ^_^
