Man, I dunno. I'm a girl -of course- and I'm in college -duh- and I'm into yaoi -sure-; my life isn't all that fascinating anymore.
I have a boyfriend who absolutely clueless to my interest in the yaoi/ shonen-ai world. All he knows is the periodically I bring up the subject that there are people out in this world that will fight tooth and nail to prove that Sasuke wants to fuck Naruto.
I'm an unsual yaoi fan though. I mean, I am perfectly fine with believing that Naruto is straight and Sasuke is asexual by nature. I bet it's an Uchiha trait to be gorgeous and not attracted to chicks that swoon. But if the plot is interesting or well written and there is a legitimate reason why the characters have turned gay (despite the lack of hints throughout the original series) then I will read and comment.
In all honesty, as long as the stories good, who cares who's kissing who. Does that make me strange? Meh, oh well.
My other hobbies include culture and music (which could be the same). I'm sort of a hardcore believer that if you like something, you know as much as possible about every detail of that thing you like. I know all there is to know regarding the anime I list as my favorites and it goes the same for Rock music and the culture of other countries.
I'm in college, a state university because in high school I was too busy breaking the law and wallowing in deep seeded angst brought on by serious situations people, none of that "My parents just don't understand me so I must cut myself to feel the pain" pop emo crap...oooo went on a rant, sorry I get passionate about stuff like that....anyways, my grades were around a B so scholarship was out. And my mom's a teacher and I wasn't liable for a job in college because I got government aid so it had to be state.
Anything else? Ah yes, I am a walking psychology textbook so my stories often have that swing of flavor. Oh, and if you notice a numbness to my characters, well, it's because I'm not so happy-go-lucky myself. Yar, yar....
