Hi! My name is Valerie, and...I don't really know what to say. I'm a fanfiction enthusiast. I mostly read Harry Potter, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gravitation, Inuyasha, Bleach, YugiOh, Full Metal Alchemist, Dragonball Z, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club, Rurouni Kenshin, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I also read original fiction.
Now as to what I write, I usually write Harry Potter, Naruto, Gravitation (very little), and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Personal little things about myself are, I am a grammar and punctuation freak. I'm not even joking. I will twitch at the tiniest flaw. I overlook it in other people's stories, however, I can't stand it in my own. And about leet? Don't. Even. Start. I respect it (as well as slang) for its creativity, however. I like how people can use their imaginations to come up with something like roxors my soxors, because it seemingly acquires something that would totally ruin it for you, so I'm not even going to mention it. I could actually write a literary essay on leet. But I won't, 'cause It'll totally kill the fun of it. However if you ARE interested, (Hint. Hint) you can check it out on Wikipedia. XD
I do love music. I fully enjoy singing (anytime, anywhere, anything) and in my opinion, I'm pretty good at it. Now if I could get that blasted record deal, I'd be set!
I hate racist comments and stereotypes. My being black shouldn't immediately define me as ghetto. I am in no way insulting people who live in the ghetto. That's is nowhere near my intention. However, I would like people to get to know me without classifying me based on my skin color. I've had people ask me why I'm "trying to act white," and it annoys me to no end.
I do like watching the occasional movie. It's not something I will spend a large amount of time on. However, I do largely enjoy myself when I get the interest to watch on. I usually watch horror (don't know why since I'm partially scared of the dark. Don't. Laugh XD. I get enough of that from my brother.), comedy, drama, fiction/fantasy, and adventure. When it comes to comedy, I don't watch movies such as those from the Scary Movie series. I prefer something similar to There's Something About Mary.
