Wow, I haven't been on here in years. Time for some updates.
The name's Becca and I still love to read and write, though I don't doodle any more. I'm now a wife, a mom and a full time manager so personal time is pretty rare. My fears of stolen ideas still haven't faded, and I'll be honest, one of the reasons why I haven't updated "In the Mountains" was because of a possible idea theft. I had seen another story parrallel to mine and I basically shut down the writing.
Recently though, my husband stumbled upon the site and my old incomplete story and read me a review that brought me to tears. I have been doing some writing on the side, and after the added encouragement for the reader, I've decided to continue with the story still stuck in my head. So yes, "In The Mountains" will updated again soon with the next chapter. Perhaps only once a month due to time restraints, but I will be writing again.
In the mean time, you can wander over to my facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BeccasShorts) and see the last of the shorts I've written, nothing to do with fanfictions, all completely original. It hasn't been updated in a year, but that'll change, and at least it's more recent than my fanfiction.
