Perhaps you are on my profile because you enjoyed I Gotta Feelin' , the in-progress Oh Captain! My Captain!, or you saw one of my reviews.  If you've enjoyed anything I have said/written, please click on my "Recommended Reading", "Fav. Authors", and "Currently Reading" links!  I manage them periodically and add stories that entertain me from other authors that I wish to share with others and hope to spread the word on.  Please Read & Review!  Some of these authors are awesomely talented and possibly superheroes.

 

ABOUT ME:

I'm a microbial ecology/geology graduate from TheBeach, Texas and am currently living in the Texas Hillcountry.  I'm also an avid reader and cover a wide assortment of literary categories; a "wide-eyed bibliomaniac", as Halfprice Books would say. 

I've been an AFF fan for years; way before 2008.  I have been slowly working on my Bleach fic, 'Oh Captain! My Captain!'.  It's my first multi-chapter story.  I'm sure my readers are frustrated with my speed, but I want them to know I haven't given up on it. I'm just having a hard time balancing work and making time to write before my brain shuts down from exhaustion. Even while concentrating on this story, I'm always daydreaming and rolling plot/non-plot ideas around in my head.  I have so many nympho-minded ideas involving Bleach, Inuyasha, and all sorts of scenarios even in fantasy/sci-fi.  I primarily read Inuyasha/Kagome fics and am pretty loyal to the couple.  If I'm not here for that, then I'm probably wandering around the Bleach archives.  I also like Fullmetal Alchemist, although there isn't much, and sometimes look up other animes and mangas.

I try to write reviews when I truly enjoy a story.  I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi because of my OCD and perfectionism, but I make an effort to write sincere and constructive criticism for what I hope is a well-rounded review.  Nobody's perfect and if I'm really into a story, even with tons of mistakes, I'll always review.  

Since I am a perfectionist, get easily distracted by mistakes, and am mentally editing many of the stories I read on AFF anyway, I'm considering becoming a beta.  I haven't posted it in the forum yet, but if you think we'd get along, then contact me.  If I'm interested in your story and have the time, I'll try and help out.
