***Upcoming: "Better Man," an ItaSaku fic inspired by the Pearl Jam song of the same title.*** Description-"She lies and says she still loves him / Can't find a better man ..." But what if she does, and he's the enemy? Some 5-6 years after the current manga, Sakura, who is involved in an unsatisfying relationship with Sasuke, meets an enigmatic man while on a solo mission. This man turns out to be the supposedly-deceased elder brother of her current lover, and Sakura finds herself questioning everything she thinks she knows--about life, love, men, relationships, and, of course, Uchiha. Mostly canon, possible cliches but hopefully fairly original. ------------------- I'm probably older than the majority of fanfiction writers and readers, but oh well. Most of the stories I read are listed as "romance" or "romance/sthg or another" and are rated M, so it follows that any stories I write will probably also fall into these categories ... not that I have much time to write; I'm working on my M.A., teaching college freshmen how to write (I think) and applying to schools for the Ph.D. But I've got a few ideas, and I'll try to make some time to turn them into fics.
