description About
I'm a lady!
I'm not particular to one version of writing or another, one author or another.
I just enjoy reading things that catch my interest, whatever that may be at any particular point. Enjoying such things normally gives me a drive to create my own works.
I'll be honest, the stories I like to read, and most often those that reach my 'fav's list are ones that make my heart hurt a little. The ones that make me furious, that make me smile, that make me anxious. I like reading things that actually make me feel. I don't care if I'm crying or if I'm screaming. Any movement is progress, and I like that.
My creativity and drive teeter variably on whether I'm enthused or not. Also, just to clear this up. I have a supremely short attention span. I draw, paint, sing, play instruments, tattoo, write, read, do puzzles, play mmo's, xbox like crazy, work a 40 hour a week job and on top of that have a personal/social life. Yeah, updates are here and there. Don't get all huffy if I don't update in a 3 day period. The only thing you can do to encourage me is PM me or Review. I like writing when I know there's an audience.
However, though my attention span is short, I continuously think about where the stories I write (all of them) are going. Over-functioning-multitasking brain. It's hardly that I stop caring or stop liking any particular idea, I just have too many ideas -so I like to get some of each out while they're still there. (awful short term memory) Eventually I gather things back up and begin where I left off... wherever that was.
Honesty Corner:
Listen up peeps! I'll be real and earnest for a minute here. I write things that a lot of people see as wrong. I'll write in depth stories &/or instances involving homosexual/heterosexual encounters. They are particularly graphic most of the time. I am 100% for free love. I believe gender doesn't play a role in attraction.
I reference religious figure/icons when writing: especially when in a character's dialogue. If I affiliate with any religion, I am Buddhist. Therefore, as long as we're all working toward our own happiness, I really couldn't care less. You're free to feel any way you want to about my writing -but if you believe anything you say is going to make me turn tail and completely change my entire stance on anything... I wouldn't hold your breath.
I use a lot of vulgarity in most of my writing -wherever I see fit. I have general language that could make a trucker blush. (You should hear it when someone cuts me off driving) That I don't see changing any time soon either.
I might write things related to: mental/physical illness, drug/alcohol abuse, physical/verbal abuse and last but not least rape/sexual assault. Personally, I've been touched by all of these things in one way or another. No, I don't know your story, or how you were effected by said tidbit of life (should you have the misfortune of being personally influenced). I will say, however, that instances that occur in your life shape the person you become. Don't let anything hold you back, learn and grow. That's how I got over things, anyway.
If it offends you, there's a back button. It's not hard. And I'm not saying this to piss anyone off, but constructive criticism is just that, constructive. If it's not going to help or change anything I write, then it's pretty moot. And I just can't see myself writing any other way. But, on a more pleasant note, constructive criticism is always appreciated. I like getting other people's perspectives. And I almost always take it into consideration & respond with a PM.
