I originally started reading Inuyasha fanfiction about seven years ago but just recently got back into it because I was a dumbass when I was 12 and couldn't understand shit. Now that I actually have developed grey matter in my head and something called wit and literary taste, I can do things like post funny reviews on my favorite authors' stories.
Having said that there are a few things that I despise (probably unfairly to the authors) regardless of how well they are written. They include:
*Any Sess/Kag shit.
Probably the worst pairing in history. Ever. The thought that comes to my mind whenever I see that underneath a title is "Oh look, another squeeing fangirl thought it would be kool to try to convince people that the most uncannon, impossible pairing is plausible." The standard Kagome gets mad at Inuyasha and runs to Sesshomaru has become so cliche'd that not only is it sickening, it's pretty much an admission of unoriginality. :/ Sorry fangirls of the stoic "Ninja of the West", true to his form in the series, he just does NOT give even ONE fuck about anything, Kagome included.
*Any Kouga/Kag shit.
Probably the second worse pairing in the history of the universe. Not only is Kouga the resident bag of douche for the series, he is also linear and boring.
