From the Detroit area and grew up during the NES days. I've lived a pretty colorful life pock marked by many mistakes. I draw on that though in my writing. I love video games and writing fics for them. I also like pwp fics as long as they're plausible. Since fanfiction .net doesn't allow pwp type fics, I'm going to post them here. I'm Dr Death DST on that site too, so if you want to check out my more serious fics, look me up.
Music: Anything that rocks or techno. ACDC, Metallica, Seether,Staind, Weezer, Hollywood Undead, Mass Effect Soundtrack, Daft Punk, etc. There's a lot more but this gives you an idea.
Movies: Love the old war classics like A Bridge Too Far, both Zulu movies, Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, etc
Books: Game of Thrones, Black Hawk Down, Son of the Morning Star, all of the Aliens vs Predator novels and other video game novels like Resident Evil, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age.
I love Mass Effect and I used to love Bioware. Since getting bought by EA, I can't say I'm as loyal as I used to be. I bought ME3 without question but the way they handled it betrayed that loyalty. I'm totally against synthesis and will always choose refuse because the catalyst is an misconceived little bastard.
Ashley Williams is one of my favorite characters and she is NOT a racist. I hate it when people write her off like that.
