Definitely I consider fanfic a guilty, deeply dorky pleasure, but one I love (when I come across particularly well-written material) and love to contribute to for fun. I first got into it by way of Lord of the Rings Legolas interests, Harry Potter re-combinations, and obviously, romance has always been my favorite genre.
I got back into fanfiction mostly to quell (or exasperate) my anime obsession. I love Soul Eater, Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Studio Ghibli, Lovely Complex, Fooly Cooly and Avatar the Last Airbender though! I recently got into reading manga, and enjoyed Lovely Complex, Mars, Uzumaki, Tomie, and Otoyomegatari. So depending on the muse, I could do fiction for any of those.
I don't like to begin posting a story until I have completely finished it, because there is nothing worse than loving an author's story only to find she slowly stopped writing it. If you read anything by me, I promise it will already have a clear ending (or will only need one more round of editing before posting the last chapters, but sometimes even this takes me a while because I like to edit, re-edit, and re-re-edit).
I do hope to write some stories that are popular with my fellow fans! This website is a gem, because the only reason fanfiction exists in my mind is to get characters to bang, plain and simple.
