description About

Greetings, traveler!

I am a hominid of the species Homo Sapiens, and as an avid user of the fascinating neuron-powered brain for which my species is named I enjoy reading, games (pen-and-paper, desktop pc, board, etc.), art, and (of course) writing. I would say that reading and writing speak to my soul, but as the unfortunate possessor of a mane of red hair I was born without one; I am glad to say that I am practiced at the two, however, and find extreme amounts of delight in the exercise of both.

A majority of my drabblings will be Warcraft-themed, as my passion for that particular realm of fiction is quite ardent.

I encourage critiques; if you have the inclination to make suggestions, please leave them in the reviews of the relevant story, or message me with more detailed analyses. Thank you!

Lady and King

by maldita
A mysterious Lady enters Varian Wrynn's court with her own secret agenda... and becomes involved in a much bigger intrigue. Language,
comment "<p> Despite this being a WIP, it is an excellent&nbsp;read. Dude is one of the more talented writers I&#39;ve had the pleasure of experiencing the work of, and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of his telling. I could only wish for more continuation of this tale, even after so long. His particular brand of eroticism balanced against intrigue is very refreshing, and his take on the attitude of the female lead is a nice contrast to the usual demure disposition that generally seems to be the norm. Also: HOT DAMN, the male attraction level; his knowledge on the subject is commendable. I&#39;ve never found myself grinning so widely at this particular genre or enjoying such so much. I confess myself spoiled.</p>"

A Daily Requirement

by Panornia
Two Warcraft characters imagined on their daily quest for the Argent Tournament, with a sexual twist.
comment "<p> I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed this short, especially considering that pairings containing anthro are not my usual cup of tea; to further the tea simile train, I suppose I might compare it to enjoying an earl grey (commonly regarded an acquired taste). The initial paragraphs of description seemed a little wordy and slow at first but were well-detailed and insightful, providing context and fuel for the story further on; I have trouble describing what kind of pace I imply other than comparing it to reluctantly coming out of reverie, but I was grateful for it just as I have been with some of my other favorite reads that began in similar fashion. (I guess what I&#39;m trying to impart to someone considering reading this short is: keep reading and you&#39;ll be rewarded for your patience!) The action was well-paced and full of imagery, and the adrenaline of it fed appropriately into the eroticism. I was impressed by the use of several taboo, and by the accompanying explanatory description that prompted approval rather than disgust. I was most impressed by the fact that despite the complete lack of dialogue between parties, the nonverbal communication was more than enough; such intimacy is delicious and rare.</p>"

Culture Clash

by Makkoska
Follow our hero, a blood elf paladin as he is saved by an unusual heroine, travels through Kalimdor and changes his view of life.
comment "<p> Culture Clash is a well-written piece. Makkoska does a great job writing on the issues of xenophobia, elitism, culture differences, prejudice, and self-barriers, developing a surprisingly complex relationship between the two protagonists despite their initial impressions. The sensual eroticism isn&#39;t overdone or out of place, either, but is appropriate in just the right places, contrasting with the general storyline and resulting conflicts nicely.</p><p> I enjoyed this read thoroughly, and look forward to further chapters of the sequel work (currently in my reading list).&nbsp;</p>"

Black and White

by Et2bruttus
A human paladin and his wife, a death knight, rekindle long-lost passions.
comment "<p> Black and White was excellently written. The subject matter of a Paladin finding love again with his now Death Knight wife, recently freed from the Lich King&#39;s influence, resonates with me deeply. I always enjoy a story written concerning the arc of the Scourge plague upon Lordaeron, and this one is no exception.&nbsp;</p>"
