Hello, all.
Does anyone ever read these things? Well...a little about me, I guess.
I work in veterinary medicine and have a passion for writing and music. I find it helps me clear my head and I do it for fun. I don't see my writing as any sort of serious literature, and I suppose my passion for music is related to the fact that I'm hearing impaired and was almost completely deaf by the time I was 7. Now, I can hear well enough to get away without wearing my hearing aids (although, I really should!). It's amazing how far I've come, but one day I'll lose that sense again. Other than that, I have 2 cats who think they are dogs, but heaven forbid, you actually tell them that. ;)
I've been a lurker on this site for...years, I suppose. I'm an avid Harry Potter fan (Drarry is my pairing of choice). I've written some things on other sites, mostly one shots. I have a few WIPs that are chaptered, however, with my history I've lost focus on writing chaptered stories. Because of that, I've taken to getting a large portion of the story done before I start posting the stories. Eventually, they'll make their way on here. Fair warning, I may have a tendency to ramble sometimes, so if you notice that, please let me know, I'll try to correct it.
So because my primary fandom is Harry Potter, I suppose I should share some of my favorite pairings.
My primary pairing is Draco and Harry. There's something so attractive about them being together. Draco, bad boy, with just enough good; Harry good boy, with just enough bad.
Ron/Hermione: I prefer these two together when possible. However, I do entertain the idea of Hermione/Blaise, Hermione/Pansy, Hermione/Theo (rare), Ron/Blaise, and Ron/Pansy. Sometimes these pairings come to light in my stories.
Neville/Luna, Neville/Ginny, or Neville/Blaise
Ginny/pretty much any male not Harry
Seamus and Blaise with pretty much anyone. If they are to be in committed relationships, I like Blaise/Seamus, Blaise/Nev, Blaise/Ginny, Seamus/Dean.
The usual, James/Lily, Tonks/Remus, Narcissa/Lucius.
I do like Remus/Sirius, Sirius/Severus.
Now that my main ships are out of the way, a disclaimer for my stories. I had some serious issues with the feel of DH. (By feel, I do not mean the dark mood of the book, but more the hurried flow of the book. If you want to debate this with me, or find out more specifics, we can talk.) With that being said, I thought the epilogue was a hurried way to close any possible loose ends. I choose to ignore it in most of my stories. I also choose to ignore some deaths sometimes, and will try to warn you in ANs.
