Hmm, where to begin?
I'm a long time fan of both reading and writing. However, I lack the drive to write anything that does not, in some way, involve sex.
I guess I'm what you'd call a pervert... I watch Anime and read Manga. I love all things Pokemon. I'm currently studying Japanese... I guess I'm also what you'd call a Weeabo...
Still, if you enjoy my recs and ideas that can only mean your perverted aswell!
My preferences in reading:
I find that a solid base and believable situations make for better reads. I enjoy thinking about the different ways a character could respond to a given situation. I'm just sharing these thoughts with you. If a fic can make you think about a character in a different light then it's acheived something at least.
I enjoy the infamous Self-Insert genre, when done well. Or the Reader-Insert sub genre. Another theme I like reading about is a phonamina that occurs in lemons or doujin, that would be the "Power of H." Which at its core could be seen as variant of the "Rule of Funny."
For those that don't know the Rule of Funny is: Any violation of continuity, logic or common sense is permissable if the result gets a laugh. I like stories where the very laws of physics work either for or against the characters.
The normal rules are ignored when the Power of H is invoked.
As with most fics this requires a bit of Suspention of Disbeliefs. Much like if you were reading a comic and said, 'theres no way that would work,' but kept reading anyway. Super Hero comics and Shonen anime are the main abusers of tropes such as The Hero Always Wins or Stupidly Lucky, but we don't question it because we've come to expect such from these works.
Anyway, it seems I've gone off topic... I also enjoy reading about characters whos morality, honer, personal beliefs or other such non-sense keeps them to a certain line of acting that savy villains can take advantage of.
