There's a social trend today that tries to tell people that certain ideas are dangerous, radioactive, and shouldn't be expressed.  One recent example being Jonathan McIntosh saying that those cheering for the video game Doom 4 are sick.  I disagree.  I fundamentally believe in the freedom of speech and of expression.  The popularity of erotic fiction is demonstrative of the fact that some people have pretty out there fantasies.  If people have these fantasies, why shouldn't they express them if they want to?  Whether as a written story, a drawing, a film, a game, whatever.  It doesn't cause any harm.  People should be free, and not shamed.
