I am a writer, and working on my third novel for publication. I love fanfiction because it often reminds me how much I love writing. Writing an original work can be an incredibly laborious process that becomes draining over time. Having the privilege to play in someone else's work is refreshing, and allows me to practise specific writing techniques that I otherwise wouldn't.
